This is the final installment of a four-part series on Rapid Engagement. This presentation focuses on bringing awareness to the power differential that exists within the youth-transition relationship and explains the importance of shifting from being the “adult” to being an active adult ally in order to support meaningful engagement of students and youth in the transition process. In addition, this presentation will explore a process that can help adults recognize and make the shift to being an adult ally and offer strategies to support the continuous engagement of students and youth.
